Join the thousands of businesses and organizations to help preserve the environment and fund K-12 education programs such as drama, music and athletics by recycling used inkjet and toner cartridges and cell phones.

Simple and Free: The America's Schools Inkjet/Toner and Cell Phone Recycling Program is a simple and cost-free program. Recycling boxes (and/or mailing labels) are sent and collected from you at no charge to you. You simply do your part in collecting used printer cartridges and increase the awareness of the program among your staff and business partners. It is that simple. Click on the "sign up now" button to the left to get started.

Unique: Unlike other programs, we accept all types of cartridges, whether they are worth anything or not, and will guarantee that they are recycled properly. ASP is a simple no-brainer program to set up.

Nationally Adopted: The program has been adopted by thousands of businesses, schools, chambers of commerce, and non-profit organizations throughout the country. Radio and TV companies have lent their support by running public service announcements. Click here to view one announcement created by Nevada State Bank, Wells Fargo Bank and the Nevada Power Company.

Did You Know?
  • Over 300 million cartridges and over 55 million cell phones are thrown away each year.

  • Each laser toner cartridge recycled saves 3 quarts of oil that is required to produce a new cartridge.

  • Over 400,000,000 printer cartridges are sold in the U.S. every year and less than 20% of these are recycled.

  • Every cartridge that is discarded in our landfills takes over 1,000 years to decompose.

  • Every year inkjet and laser cartridges account for over 200 million pounds of solid waste to our nation's landfills.
