Environmental Youth Summit: May 22, 2010
Las Vegas Springs Preserve
Together with its partners, ASP has established an
Annual Environmental Youth Summit
to educate and empower young people by creating a dialogue between youth,
the environmental sciences community, business, political leaders,
and membership-based organizations.
The Summit will empower, inform, and develop
ASP Youth Environmental Ambassadors
by increasing knowledge and understanding of the earth’s environment.
ASP Enviormental Youth Programs and Essay Contest - 2010
(Clark County School District)
Together, NV Energy, Springs Preserve, Jet Global Holdings, Sustainable Travel International, DRI and the America’s Schools Program have joined forces with the CCSD School-Community Partnership Program to inspire and influence students to learn more about the protection of the environment and wildlife, with a focus on sustainability, conservation and education, while supporting district academic standards.

| The winner of the ASP-Clark County School
District Environmental Essay Contest,
will be the next Environmental Youth
Ambassador and along with one parent,
will enjoy an all expense paid, round-trip to
Australia in June of 2010. |
