In less than 5 months, the Henderson Chamber of Commerce under the leadership of Assistant Executive Director, Gayle Rogers, has successfully signed its 250th business recycling partner location.
These businesses range from large corporations with retail branches such as Nevada State Bank and Wells Fargo Bank, to the Court House to major hospitals.
Businesses that have joined include Nevada State Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Henderson Justice Court,
Armand Manufacturing, Black Mountain Graphics, Chavez and Koch, Club 50 Fitness, Coo Coos, Dekker Perich, Holmes & Sabatini, Galleria at Sunset, Gomez Consulting Group, Greg Hendrickson DDS,
Highway Radio, Imagine Marketing of Nevada, KIA Insurance, Lake Mead Boat Storage, Levi Strauss & Co, Moving Box Rentals, Rainbow Club Casino, Rhodes Homes, Tate Snyder Kimsey Architects, Transworld Systems, and TWC Construction.
ASP and the Nevada Association of Schools Boards hosted a dinner get together in Las Vegas with Henderson Chamber of Commerce and executives of Wells Fargo Bank, Nevada State Bank and the Nevada Athletic Directors Association.

The Ventura Chamber of Commerce coordinated a meeting with ASP and the Ventura Unified School District. The net result was that all 26 schools enrolled in the Recycling Program.
ASP participated in the Ventura Chamber of Commerce's annual meeting and exhibition. Several businesses and organizations were introduced and have since enrolled into the program.
A few of the organizations that are part of the program are: Arbys Roast Beef, Financial West Group, Signs of Distinction, the Greek at the Harbor, Ventura Office & Professional Center and the Topa Management Company.
A special thanks to Zoe Taylor, Lynn Mikelatos and Jean Swift for spear heading this effort and helping the local community. The Ventura Chamber of Commerce has distributed information to their membership through email campaigns and print publications as well as at their Chamber committee meetings. The Ventura Chamber has been a model of cooperation between the chamber, the school district and the business community.

Henderson, Nevada. 2005 Educational Super Stars
Over 100 educational folks in attendance from local area schools. All were introduce to the ASP Nevada Schools Recycling Program by the Board President of Henderson Chamber of Commerce and everyone received an ASP packet of information to take back to their schools to encourage all to participate.
Announcement was also made about both Wells Fargo Bank and Nevada State Bank becoming "Official Retail Recycling Drop-Off Locations" for Nevada schools.

Las Vegas, Nevada . Nevada State Bank was the first retail banking corporation to offer their support and their retail branch locations as “Official Retail Recycling Drop-Off Sites” to help support Nevada’s schools.
Nevada State Bank has already successfully launched in Southern Nevada branch locations by physically placing ASP/Nevada Sate Bank co-branded recycling bins in each branch location and applying the “ASP Official Recycling Door Decal” to each entryway of each of its 63 branch locations.

Las Vegas, Nevada - Wells Fargo Bank branch locations are now “Official Retail Recycling Drop-Off Locations” in Nevada for the general public. Step one is a southern Nevada branch location launch, that will be followed by a Northern Nevada launch in early January 2006. We are excited to work with such a great team of people in Nevada.
The program is being launched in the 150 branch locations in Southern Nevada.
Proceeds from the program will be used by the Education Foundation of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce to promote educational programs among the various schools.

Nevada Power Company shipping recycling boxes

Las Vegas - Nevada Power Company has been shipping several boxes full of cartridges every week. Proceeds from the recycling program will be helping Myrtle Tate Elementary School in Nevada.
Nevada Power Company distributed information about the program to their subscribers through their utility bill mailing. This reached more than 750,000 homes in southern Nevada alone.

Long Beach , California - The Long Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Triple Net Properties Management Group directly illustrate the co-venture business model that each City Chamber can implement in their own community as an evergreen revenue source for both the Chamber and your local schools.
Triple Net Properties is the Long Beach Chambers first recycling partner to sign onboard to support the Long Beach Chambers recycling program effort. This one building netted the Long Beach Chamber over 63 office locations with 1,800 employees. Triple Net Properties has already placed a first order of 150 recycling boxes and 5,000 pre-paid mailing bags to be strategically placed around the One World Trade Center Complex for the general public to take a pre-paid recycling bag home with them to recycle.

California -ASP proudly welcomes the various chambers of commerce that have joined - Downey, Long Beach, Fallbrook, Chino Valley, Poway, Lake Elsinore, Oceanside, Ontario, La Habra and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, just to mention a few, that have all come onboard in the past 30 days plus. Another 30 City Chambers in California are currently in the process of adopting a co-venture partnership status with ASP within the next 30-60 days.

California - ASP is expanding its merchandising programs from the Coffee and Bleeding and Burn Control products to manufacturer direct private labeled apparel. Business organizations and event-promoters will be able to purchase customized wholesale priced products including event specific apparel such as, polo shirts, hooded- jackets, caps to boost revenue on these events. Additional product lines will be added such as private labeled bottled water through the America's Schools Program. Each program is designed to financially support our co-venture partner events and our K-12 schools nationwide. |
